Has this issue been addressed by the township?

I highly doubt it has been resolved... I've been going to speedway at corner of crocker and Jefferson everyday once in morn once late night for at least 3 yrs and in the past yr or so I've seen so many homeless people its ridiculous. The old st.john urgent care building is in a prime spot for the homeless, its right across the street from the freedom bike path so they have access to the river and the lake for fishing for food, I've seen a homeless guy on that path trying to fish with a shoe string a piece of gum and a tooth pick... I give him props for trying to be the MacGyver of the bums tho. And that path also gives them a route to kroger mcdonalds and speedway (to name a few places I've ran into the stinky fellows with my family) the city and the Macomb County Sheriffs need to fix this situation asap before things get more out of hand. I moved to Harrison Township from Hazel Park thinking that I was doing the right thing for my family and yet I still feel like im back living near 8 mile with all the robberies and such... Harrison township has disappointed me big time.

I'm sure someone means well, but they don't think they need to get approvals because their intentions are saintly.

BTW, NIMBY.
