The traffic lights on the Parkway are under DCR Jurisdiction. The construction on Cabot St has been creating more traffic to be routed down Spring st to gain access to the PKWY. We do not have the authority to change DCR's timing on signals. I will forward this to the traffic officer

Sgt Can you please look into the traffic issue that is created by the car wash on Revere Beach PKWY?

Rich, Yes Cabot street work may have added to the problem but the timing cycle of the lights seemed to have been changed after a pole was knocked over in late Nov. Can the city contact the state, as I have tried but seem to be unable to speak to the right persons, and have them check/adjust the timing??? It seems that 1 1/2 to 2 minutes for E and W bound traffic (when the other intersections along Rte.16 are timed for app 30-45 seconds) before Spring St. gets a green signal seems excessive. I also question if the signal activation pads are working properly at this location because even when no traffic is coming (nighttime) you still have to sit and wait there..
