The city, to their credit, DID come through with a "scrapper truck" and scrape off the lumpiness, but that left an unsealed asphalt surface that is beginning to get pocked with potholes after each rain. I'd say they have a good start on the project, but they never followed through on the needed repair. Better, but not fixed.

Several rough areas have become more pronounced over the cold snap we've experienced lately. The area needs new asphalt. Also, the merge with northbound JFK is simply awful. The weight of big trucks has caused the asphalt to "bunch up" and look similar to frozen waves. This looks and feels terrible when coming into NLR. I hope someone can finally fix this.

I've decided that this website doesn't "work" the way it was intended to. No one who has any authority looks at this stuff. Why even waste time on it? The issues are out there, but no one cares.
