Description
cars leaving the industrial park and college late afternoon into early evening speed around the curve and rush towards Lexington. There appears to be no speed enforcement. How about a stop sign in both directions at the curve?

Thank you for reporting this issue. The speeding issue will be passed on to the Blaine PD for more enforcement. As for the requested Stop signs, we do not install Stop signs to control speeding. Stop sign studies have shown that stop signs are not effective in deterring speeding issues. These studies show that signs that are placed inappropriately tend to create two additional issues. The first is traffic tends not to stop at the sign and the second is an increase in speeding between stops.
