Zoning Dept to check site.

I purposely shoveled the snow and parked my personal truck in a way to prevent it from happening over the past few days however there is still an large grey church van that continues to park in the lot.

Zoning Dept was at the site today and there was a male shoveling snow at the 2116 address. I observed a gray van with a church name on the side and a pick up truck. Are you the owner of 2116? If so, I would advise speaking to the Police Dept's Traffic Bureau so they can run the plates of the vehicle(s) to check ownership. Plus they can tow the vehicles if necessary.

I own the white pickup. I parked it that way to block just anyone from pulling through my drive and into the lot. People have literally backed over the curb to my island in their attempt to get out of that lot. I mow that lot, pick up the liter, and keep up on the leaves. It just really bothers me to see just random people pulling in and out of the lot at all hours of the night. Additionally its become very muddy, full of peoples liter, and zero organization. People then start their vehicles at all hours of the night and rev the engine for long periods of time. Very much an eyesore every time I walk out of my house and making it difficult to get a normal nights sleep with the additional random parking.

Don't forget- you can call the Police Dept about the noise and they could tow the vehicles if you ask them to. I will check into this further but I do believe the Police will have to respond to check plates and ownership.

Thanks so much. I appreciate you looking into this for me. I didn't think the police would get involved via my request since I don't yet own the property. Right now I believe the city currently owns the land. I simply care for it and keep it up since its directly behind me. I personally feel it needs cared for to keep the area looking nice. I'll place a call to Canton Police to see if there is something they suggest me to do.

Dear Traffic Dept,
If you could look into this situation for this property owner- there is a vacant lot directly behind his property at 2116 Cleveland Ave NW. (Parcel # 201963- it's a small lot- 50' x 70' and it runs east from his garage and driveway over to the alleyway- Geltz Ct NW). He is looking into purchasing the lot but for right now, the lot is being used for a parking lot. They pull into his driveway or drive over the grass, park on the grass and of course, it drags mud all over the streets. There is a church van that has been sitting for some time now.
The lot's ownership shows to a Aleta Lyons and she may have had a house on the lot at one time, but it's been demolished.
Could you please check the vehicles parked on this vacant lot and tow them if necessary?
