Description

Need Sidewalk on Bramble Lane in Sweetbriar Neighborhood off of S. First. There is no place for kids to walk to school but in the street.

There has been no response. Please get the city to the Sweetbriar Neighborhood to install badly needed sidewalks and street repair on Bramble lane and South First.It is an extreme safety issue for pedestrians and through traffic.

This issue has not been resolved. Since then Google fiber has also damaged many sidewalks throughout the neighborhood. However, the main issue, There is no sidewalk at Bramble drive and S. First. Many kids and others have to walk in the street with a plethora of cars rushing by to get to school or the bus. It needs to be fixed for safety reasons.

Please fix this issue. This street needs speed bumps as well. Traffic is used as a throughway to access S. Congress. The average price for a home here now is over 300K. Other neighborhoods get attention, why not Sweetbriar?

Try contacting the PAC http://www.austintexas.gov/department/pedestrian-advisory-council They might be able to get this location higher up on the list. It is frustrating that pedestrians are neglected with regards to safe infrastructure.
