Description

The location is the 1600 block of South Street, just below London Road On the left in the photo, where the tree is located, is the handicap access to the pedestrian overpass to the LakeWalk. EVEN IF the tree were to be removed, how would a wheelchair navigate the narrow sidewalk to get to the overpass? Who engineered this obstacle?! Where is Russell Stover when you need him?!

The tree has been removed and the parks department has been better about keeping the walkway clear of snow, but the overpass is still NOT accessible by wheelchair. There is no ramp to the overpass that can be accessed by a wheelchair.
