Is it unreasonable to ask HOW it is being ADDRESSED? Or is it necessary a group of neighbors goes before the County Commission to ask? HOW is it being addressed, please?

I'm going to answer my own question here, since nobody else can. YES.

It has not been fixed. The county has done NOTHING to address it.

The issue has now been fixed...by Fannie Mae and USBank...Concrete has been poured over the opening and it is closed....after more than a year of mosquitoes and creatures breeding here! The county's "addressing" of the problem was what? Action was taken by communicating directly with Fannie Mae and the bank...Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Notice the orange flags? a septic company abandoned this project leaving it in an unsafe and dangerous condition. If anyone knew which septic company, then that company could have been sued by any neighbor or interested party in the area. The county could have been notified of teh septic company that started a project and left it unsafe.

I know this sounds harsh, but what IDIOT decided to concrete over the septic tank and destroy the septic system of this property? The property is now uninhabitable and the lack of septic system MUST be disclosed. Current cost without mounded system is about 6-10K, with mounded and the new alarms etc....probably 12-15K..

The county should NEVER have allowed repiard by destructions, at least they should have red tagged teh entire property permanently because it has no spetic it is NOT habitable. If anyone has similar problems in the future, make sure that you put in writing to the county code enforcement that in order to be habitable the property MUST have an active septic system....and that destruction of the system WILL harm YOUR property values by allowing an uninhabitable property to exist.

Any time a property near yours becomes uninhabitable it must have 1. a red tag. 2. affectd your property value.

If code enforcement does not mandate repair to functional and have it fixed, then you must notify the tax appraiser immediately that the COUNTY or CITY has caused harm to yoru property values and explain why. Demand that your tax assessments be reduced by at least 1/3 of the value beteween the unihhabitable property at fire sale prices and the value of your property in good condition.

Make sure to state that the county or city caused and allowed the value change by ts own actions.
