Description
We received an email, "...drainage issue in the right-of-way next to the street in front of our house. After a rain storm, it takes several days (more than 72 hours) for the water to dissipate in the canal that runs parallel to our street.... the sediment has flowed downhill (we live down the hill from approximately 10 houses up the street) and has filled in the drainage canal over time, so instead of it being concave and sloping downhill, it's actually flattened out or become convex. Down the hill from our house, where the neighborhood street meets the main road, there appears to be a collector drain where the water it appears was originally intended to end up, but much of it remains stuck at this point."
