We are so glad that the state is finally going to look into this issue!! We wrote some years ago about the problem which was noted in an article in today's Saratogian finally!! There have been several accidents at this intersection. It is extremely dangerous especially because of the extreme angle of intersection with Gilbert with Rte 29. We had suggested that this would be a great place for a round- about. We know that people are really turned off to those because of the number of them at exit 12, but this really is an intersection that would benefit from a round-about. It would be extremely difficult to coordinate separate lights at these two intersection, so close together.
