Sing and enjoy life all you want. just not on a microphone, it is ignorant

Neighbors shouldn't treat each other like this...if something you do invades other people's space via property line, ears, nose, then you should be considerate towards them. Nobody is saying you shouldn't sing but a person shouldn't be forced to hear you at their home. You guys may need each other some day.

Is there anyway you can address this with him in a humorous way? He may not realize just how far his voice carries. Just a thought. If he is singing, he is probably a happy guy and may make for a new friend.
