We received an email, "I had spoken to... the highways department several months ago who said the county would do an inspection of my Little Free Library to determine if I needed a permit from the county for this library box. I have yet to hear from anyone in the county to see if an inspection has been done and if so, what the results are - how can I schedule an inspection if one has not been done yet? I have been asked by my neighborhood association to have a county permit (or written permission) for the Little Free Library box installed on my property. The library is a 20" x 21" x 22" box mounted on a mailbox post that holds free books - the post is located about 8 feet in from the street and is situated next to my driveway (there is no sidewalk on my side of the street)."
