Lower Rocky Point Road , from Woodhull Landing Road to North Country Road in Sound Beach-Miller Place, is littered with potholes, some quite deep. A town truck was on the road last week, with a worker filling in some holes with asphalt, but the problem is not resolved. The condition of the road has been deteriorating all winter.

A day or two after this issue was reported most of the potholes were filled in. Driving on the road has improved, although ideally it should be repaved when weather permits.

With the heavy rains this week, the potholes are back and as numerous as ever. Issue certainly is not resolved.
