When I drove by there, it looked neat and organized. That was at least 2 weeks ago, and obviously they need trash containers, portable toilets and handwashing facilities to maintain cleanliness. City needs to provide these and also let them use the fenced city lot so that they are not living on the sidewalk. I think we all need to rethink what is "filthy and disgusting" unless our elected officials are willing to provide indoor housing for everyone. The government has refused to do this since the 1990s when the welfare laws were gutted and people were left to fend for themselves. Very sad.
