Description
The traffic light at Shore Rd and North Ave sometimes is not actuated by the presence of people on bikes. In this video one can see I wait nearly three minutes centered in the lane just behind the stop bar in the left turn (/straight) lane before getting a green light and that may have been triggered by the person driving a car in the right turn lane.
Today had some heavy precipitation that may have fouled the detection. If so the detection device should be adjusted to account for that , but this issue has also been apparent on fairer days as well as noted in http://www.fr.seeclickfix.com/issues/1839265

Thank you for addressing this issue and including a detailed response! I will certainly let you know if you I experience problems in the future.
Just to be crystal clear, at the time of this particular issue I was running *4* independent sets of front/rear lights, including a 700 lumen front light. I was also wearing a full "hi-viz yellow" rain suit, both tops and bottoms, with wide swathes of reflective materials. All far above and beyond the minimum legal requirements in every way.
