Both 11 N. Ballard and 111 N. Ballard had cars blocking sidewalk this week. Please update if/when tickets are issued. Thank you.

12 days later and no update from the police. Seems like they don't care to enforce this ordinance for this issue.

Parking enforcement officers have been in contact with the planning department as well as ordinance enforcement regarding this issue. In order for it to be properly addressed, letters had to be sent to the property owners regarding the ordinance violations taking place. These letters give property owners the opportunity to fix said issues before being cited. The property owners were also contacted by parking enforcement in regards to cars parking on the sidewalk. At this time, no citations have been issued, however, property owners have been advised they will be cited should this happen again.

Parking enforcement continues to monitor the parking of vehicles on the sidewalk in this particular area. Citations have been issued during the week of August 15th as well as August 29th. Please call the department at 734-483-9510 should you see this violation occur once again and a parking officer will be dispatched to the location.
