A pedestrian was struck by a pickup truck and seriously injured last week half a block up from this intersection. Granted, he still shouldn't have been crossing mid-street, but it highlights how dangerous this street can be. With the high number of pedestrians crossing the street here, we need a crosswalk to better protect them.
