If you're on Chelsea St. and try to turn left to go 99N it's almost impossible. The lights down the road isn't long enough to keep this traffic moving.

This has been complained about on this site over and over again. Nothing has been done about it. People from all sides of the intersection block it, especially drivers and buses coming from Chelsea Street. I take a right off Norwood and even if I am at the front of the line I often have to wait more than one light cycle to get out. The crossing guard stopping traffic for every single kid (rather than waiting for a few to accumulate first), is one part of the problem. The light at 2nd/Broadway/Corey is another. 2nd gets the light for way too long and Broadway's green light is too short.

What are the cops doing

A trip loop upgrade will be discussed at this years budget meetings. That location 2nd @ Broadway is one of the many areas which would benefit from the installation. This would give us better capability to adjust timing sequences. I will forward this to EPD for the intersection concerns.
