Hi several months ago the DPW or water department had to dig up the water shut off in front of my house

a couple of weeks later someone came by and filled in the hole in the sidewalk with asphalt when the rest of the sidewalk is concrete

I have seen other concrete sidewalks Patched with concrete and not asphalt so I'm assuming the asphalt is just temporary but I wanted to bring this up so that it's on the list to be repaired correctly because it looks pretty crappy

It also appears that when the hole was dug they broke the granite curb and there is also now a large crack in the adjacent concrete
