The flooding in our neighborhood worsens by the storm, literally. I have attached a photo of my property, the fence is 4 foot high and we have water running over it in places.
We never used to experience this level of flooding even during hurricanes. And when we did have some high water it drained in less than 24hrs. Now we have to sit in stagnated filth for often over a week until it subsides, then deal with a huge stinking mud hole that breeds mosquito's like crazy! What is the city doing with all the tax dollars we are sending in from this neighborhood? We don't seem to get very much in return at all for our tax contributions.
