Description
As a biker, I have had several biker-driver conflicts on this unsafe section of Archibald street. As you head up the hill, the parking on the street makes the passage too narrow, and cars aggressively try to squeeze by as others are coming down the hill.
First: please remove parking from this section of Archibald. It is too narrow for on-street parking with the mixed use of bikes and cars.
Second: please add markings for bike lane, center line, etc. The street seems to be treated like a minor side street with no markings, but it gets heavy use. I believe this is slated as a bike laned street in the new BTV walk/bike plan.
Thank you!

iceu, share the road means share the road :)
If the city will not build cycling specific infrastructure expect to share the road with people cycling. Sidewalks are actually a more dangerous and less comfortable place to ride a bike. And yup, this means folks driving may have to wait sometimes. So, which is more important? Parking? Or not having folks cycling in the general purpose lanes?

This area is not in downtown or near the student housing projects, and there is no sidewalk on this section of Archibald St. In addition, biking on sidewalks is illegal downtown, and is unsafe everywhere.
