NO it has not been fixed i don,t think the state has any plans to fix it... we all pay the same taxes as people who have good roads and we have to fill our own potholes , craters.. it is the worst after rain thank you for caring..

I checked with the NCDOT, they say this road is not maintained by the state but is the responsibility of the homeowner's association. The NCDOT sent me a copy of the map and disclosure statement that was signed in 1983.

kim ..thank you for looking into it.. i got the same answer 5 years ago when i contacted the state.. there is no homeowners assoc. here,, nor do we want one.. so what the state is saying...;;;;;;we know that you pay the same taxes as folks with paved roads ;; but we don,t care.. it also costs me more for my home ins, because no fire hydrant on my street,, so all i,m saying is that there are 65 homes on my street[as well as thousands of others living on dirt roads in the county]..give us a tax break ,,if the state/county isn,t in the road builing buisness.. so we can fix our own road... Kim i think there is a story here ,, not just my road but the hundreds like it here.. once again road is impassable after alot of rain ,, no mail delevered, no newspaper del. no fed xx del.. but the state dosn, care WELL I DO!!!!
