Description

Greetings ... One of your field reps was in our neighborhood marking locations to plant new trees between the sidewalk and street. I was able to talk with him and discuss the status of our two Zelkova Elm trees that were planted by the City back in 1989. These trees have been on a "death march" over the past 5-8 years, and we are constantly picking up larger and larger branches after moderate-to-heavy winds. You will note that these trees have severe congested trunk growth and probably should have received routine trimming. Now, we have many branches that are dead/dying. I would like to think we might get another year out of them, but the field rep said these type of trees have not done well at all and should be replaced. He recommended I contact you through the "fix it" portal and include some photos. We would appreciate someone coming back out to assess our trees for potential removal, and then be included for "new" tree plantings along with our other neighbors. Thank you for your consideration.
