There is a van and car hauler trailer that has been parked across from 15425 chestnut for over two weeks. Prior to that, it was parked in front on the other side of the street for over a week. I don't mind temporary trailer parking, but this appears ▶Archived
This issue has not been resolved. The only time this trailer has moved is when they pulled it into the driveway to paint it. The trailer is now red and is currently attached to a small Saturn sedan. It belongs to the person living on Leroy (3rd house off chestnut on the east side of the street) and they are using the street to store it. This has lead to chestnut being very congested with street parking due to this trailer taking up so much space. Please address this issue soon. It's been over a month since I reported it.
I first reported this issue on April 22, 2016 and nothing has been done about it. The trailer still continues to be parked on Chestnut Street with the only movement happening when the owner of the trailer moves it from in front of one house to in front of another. This occurs on a daily basis. Sometimes it is hooked to a van, sometimes a Saturn sedan. Other times the trailer isn't hooked to any vehicle. This trailer has lead to daily street parking issues and a very congested street. The placement/parking of this trailer has prevented me from pulling a trailer out of my own driveway...a trailer that I park in my garage since street parking is not permitted. Please do something with this issue. I am beyond baffled as to why this reported issue has been ignored for over two months. As I stated in my previous report, the trailer is owned by the person who lives on Leroy (3rd house south of Chestnut on the east side of the street).
The issue still exists and not one thing has been done to address it. I first posted about this over two months ago. The vehicle and trailer is now parked in a way that is making it impossible for people who legally park trailers on their own property from being able to pull them out and use them. Attempts have been made to contact the person responsible, but nothing has changed. I need the city to intervene...I am out of options and patience.
