Description

I keep hearing about watching out for pedestrians in crosswalks in downtown Raleigh, however, equally as important, pedestrians needs to adhere to the rules of using crosswalks at intersections. People that appear intelligent routinely walk in front of moving vehicles with little regard for the pedestrian stop and go light indicators. I am sure this would be a fairly interesting pedestrian expose if properly presented on the local news. Pedestrians need to be responsible for their actions also, and this part of the equation has not even been brought up as a concern in the downtown area. I wished I had some images in which to send, but I imagine you could set up a stationary camera to watch the corners of Hargett and Wilmington during a busy part of the work day , or by the Red Hat amphitheater during a concert and witness the cause for my concern.
