My mailbox has been hit 3 times in the past year. Of course nobody has ever knocked on my door to tell me it was their fault. So this is money coming out of my own pocket to fix and put the mailbox back together. I will have a son at the end of this year and I am worried about his safety and playing in our front yard. We need speed bumps ASAP. Everyone in our community agrees!

Speeding on diamond Ridge Avenue is ridiculous. when you enter the neighborhood people ride on your tail trying to go as fast as I can and then when you turn onto the first street on the left you have to almost come to a dead halt to see if anyone's going to come flying down the hill and possibly hit you. It's very dangerous. I am thankful I don't live on the main road but also am scared for the children who wait at their bus stops in the dark when people go flying down the hill.

As we do live on Diamond Ridge Ave, we experience daily frustration with speeders in the neighborhood. I personally have witnessed teenagers racing in the neighborhood and hitting a neighbor's mailbox because they took the turn too fast (of which I notified the police). I believe as taxpayers we are entitled to a safe living environment. Something has to be done-whether it is stop signs or more preferably speed bumps.
