Description

Something needs to be done about the pedestrian crosswalk on Main Street at the yellow blinking light near George street. Either a crosswalk button needs to be installed or a raised crosswalk. Every single weekday at 5 pm I try and cross this street to get home after work and I almost have to force my way out in front of oncoming traffic. People rarely stop for pedestrians in the crosswalk and you'll lose every single time against a 2 ton car. I have brought this up with city councilors and they have agreed with my concerns but yet nothing has been done. Sooner or later someone will get hit and killed by a car flying down Main Street and even then something probably won't be done about this
