I would like you to find out why Leavenworth USD 453 would want to not renew Janine Kempker's contract as an elementary principal in the district. If you research Mrs. Kempker's name you will see all the positive recognitions she has brought to the school district. If you research the superintendent, Kelly Harris, you will see the different type of recognition she has the brought to the district. This was covered by your news station. In the two previous meetings colleagues, parents, and tax payers have all spoke on behalf of Mrs. Kempker. The best I can figure out is that this is a matter of politics at its worst with our children not being the board of education's first concern.
