Thank you for your concerns in reference to Hillcrest Cemetery. Due to various weather conditions, the flags that loved ones placed on their family members grave sites happened to blow away & we are aware of the situation & intend to pick them up. The preparation of the Cemetery prior to Memorial Day has been placed on the Park's Department agenda, which is prioritized by up coming events & will be done in time for the holiday. This preparation is done annually, as well as periodic maintenance through out the year & will be completed for the visitation of friends & family of the deceased for their day of recognition.

The Cemetery was maintained (flags picked up, weeds pulled, trash picked up) & made presentable for Memorial Day. It will continue to be maintained, although manpower does not allow for someone to be on site daily. Personnel will report as often as possible to attend to needed issues on the property.
