Description
I don;t know what the state was thinking, when they put the left turn signal on the light at this intersection for traffic traveling West only. If a person is traveling East and needs to turn Left they can quite possibly sit through more than one cycle of the light. At very busy times of the day it is impossible to see if there is any traffic coming in the opposite direction because of the vehicles traveling west, waiting to make the left on Totoket heading for Branford. The vehicles that are traveling in a westerly direction have a clear view down the hill of all the traffic that is traveling East. Therefore making it safe for them to make their turn.

Last comment should have said person traveling East on Rt. 80 would be wiser to keep driving East until they reach Rt. 22 North.
There should be an edit option for the comments section.
