A representative from Pinellas County Environmental Management spoke with the owner of the property. The owner stated that he dispose of the debris properly and stated that this could have been done by the individuals who are renting the property. The owner has stated that he's addressed this situation with these renters before; asking them to please refrain from conducting oil changes on the parcel and not to leave their auto debris on site, or on any adjacent parcels.
The Inspector from the Department of Environmental Management inspected the ROW for signs of petroleum products, but found no evidence of this practice.
This issue has been reassigned to Code Enforcement to address the remaining concerns.
