Description

A stop sign is needed on Mohican Ave. There isn't a stop sign or a speed zone from Mohican and Richmond intersection until Mohican and Cherokee street. It's a school zone for Cherokee street school and cars speed up and down the street everyday while parents are walking their children to school as well as the children walking to school alone. Motorists speed up and down the streets and it is unsafe to walk the streets with people disobeying the speed limit. Recently a motorist slammed their vehicle into a parked car on Mohican Ave pushing the vehicle into another parked car . The motorist was traveling at 40-50mph and totaled the car that was struck as well as its own at 3:30pm on a school day. If there was a stop sign on Mohican Ave and Iroquois street this accident and other accidents would not occur because the driver wouldn't be able to get to that velocity .The speed limit has been an ongoing issue for Mohican Ave and a stop sign is needed desperately!!!!!!!
