These punks drive up and down Bates St at 50+ mph with no helmets on dirt bikes that are not street legal. They are also selling drugs and using the bikes as means of delivery. Police need to take action; this has gone on for way too long. The police know who they are yet do not do anything.

It's a real nuisance and they are also selling drugs while on their motorcycles, inviting drug users to hang out in front of Bates Rd park. They have no regard for their fellow neighbors in a residential family neighborhood. I worry a child is going to get hurt or their could be violence due to their drug dealing in front of young children.

When I first moved to Bates Road 16 years ago, it was a wonderful place to be. The element that took over in the area near the park has made it very unpleasant. Yes, the drug dealing is obvious and it's disturbing to see how openly it is done. My number one safety concern is the speeding. Some nights I am sure one of these cars is going to end up in our bedroom.

The lack of response by local law enforcement is concerning with how flagrant the abuse has been & how law enforcement "is aware" of the issues.

Let's see what Lt. Downing does with respect to follow-up. Personally, I feel police officers are getting more grief from the public than they deserve these days (not to mention the tragic losses they are experiencing from dangerous and violent individuals). My feeling is this; enforcing traffic rules will go a long way towards calming the drug problem on Bates Road. Right now the dealers who live in the area and the buyers they attract are acting like no one is watching -- that's why they drive like they do. Lt. Downing, you have my email address. Well, neighbor -- you were right. Nobody cares.

It hasn't been so bad the last couple of weeks. One youth is driving up and down the street constantly on a motorized skateboard that's pretty loud and not obeying any kind of traffic rules.

The Town of Framingham is in the process of reviewing older issues submitted to SeeClickFix. It is our understanding that this issue has been resolved and was simply not closed at the time of resolution. If this is still a problem, please open a NEW issue on SeeClickFix. People are still blasting up and down Bates and Brackett and very fast speeds, usually with no helmets or lights. Problem has not changed at all.

The Traffic division has been advised of this concern as well as the shift supervisors.
When you see this occurring please call the police station to report the incident as it is happening. They can have a sector car respond
