Would you share what the problem is and what was done, please? I've noticed this at several properties surrounding my house, too.

Maria- I have stopped and looked at the problem spots on your street, it appears that the new grass didn't receive enough water to survive and has died off from lack of being watered. I am talking with the contractor that did all the work to see what can be done.
