Fair enough. Though I'm not even sure if it's a violation? If it's still there in a day or two I'll mention it to them. Summer weekend; parking is pretty empty.
July 4th weekend is coming up when parking will be an issue. There's a power line running to RV. Is someone living in there? That lot is not an RV park.
Thanks for reporting an issue to Narberth SeeClickFix. We remind you to dial 911 if the issue you are reporting is an emergency. Issues reported here will be responded to during normal hours of business M-F 8:00 to 4:00.
This issue is being discussed at tonight's Public works committee of Council, specifically long term and or oversized vehicles parked in Borough lots. Will update with a message but no regulations currently prevent this- only abandonment of vehicles is currently prohibited.
That brings up the question - What is an abandoned vehicle? Borough code chapter 117 defines it but leaves some questions such as does a vehicle that can't move on its own include things such as utility trailers? And can a vehicle be considered abandoned if the inspection is out of date? Can the borough provide a definitive interpretation of this section? Seems to be an increasing number of abandoned vehicles on our streets. Thanks
