This is still an issue, and it is very dangerous since cars merging in from Ashford Dunwoody are not yielding to cyclists, the new stripping needs to make this clear to avoid an accident. I nearly had a high speed accident because of this recently.

To Bolocan1: Thank you for commenting and for adding your experience. I have been told by the city that the city considers this to already be a best practices fix and that detection loops will be added to alert drivers that bike riders are coming but bike riders still must yield to drivers coming from another street and cross/merge as indicated in order to keep going forward in their direction of travel. There apparently is not going to be any additional effort to fix Pointy. I agree with you that this is extremely dangerous and I am deeply disappointed with the city's response.
