Wake Forest Power - BP assigned this issue to Town of Wake Forest Planning TS

I have requested that the Street Department visit the site and correct any site distance issues that are caused by natural vegetation.

Please let me know if the Town will respond or if I need to contact NCDOT since it intersects with N.Main St. (US 1-A). Thanks.

Is there an update on this? Signs continue to be placed in driver's site distance. More signs "appear" on the weekends.

The issue still exists. Various real estate and home builder signs a limit driver's vision in both directions. Trees to the south are also close to North Main. No response or feedback from the Town of Wake Forest.

There never is any follow-up to validate/reject my concern. The Town of Wake Forest assigns it to one or more departments, but no feedback is provided to close the loop. In addition, a similar report has been sent to NCDOT without any response other than we'll look at it. One would think there is a site distance standard with regard to trees, vegetation and signs at intersections. Keep point is that a driver should not have to pull forward after a stop and encroach the southbound travel lane in order to have a good visual of both directions.
