Descrizione
The entire street of Parson Ave behind #90 Beaver St is nothing but large potholes, craters and cracked road. This covers the entire stretch of the road behind the apartment building, and through the back exit. This has caused severe damage to residence vehicles who have no alternatives and must drive down the road in order to get to their parking lots behind their building.
This road should be paved and marked a dead end as the "not a through way" sign does not deter non-resident vehicles from passing through at high speeds causing more damage to the road

Parsons is a private way. State law only allows us to patch potholes. We are not permitted to do major repairs on private ways.
I will put in to have the potholes repaired.
Thank you.

On behalf of all the residents at 90 Beaver St, we do appreciate the filling of the potholes, especially the large holes at the entrance of both parking areas.
I may not fully understand and would appreciate some insight on how a road that is open to the public to drive through (despite the "dead end" and "not a through way" sign) and has public residents, can be considered private.
Is there a way we can find out who owns the road? I have tried looking through the Deeds listings on mass.gov and other sites in the past, and have not been able to find an owner. I would like to reach out them directly, and have been looking for an opportunity for residents to have a voice regarding the road. There is one house and one apartment building on that road, and neither is the "road owner"
The ownership could be a property group or business that is no longer in the area and may never drive on the road, nor know how it impacts those who live on it (quite possibly they may not care) However as costly as road repairs may be, so are car repairs, alignments, and new tires.
Again, thank you for taking action by filling the holes, and I look forward to learning more about the details of road ownership.
I am concerned resident and citizen and I pay my excise tax for the city of Waltham, and would like to see a better road for the future.
