Hopefully the city will respond in a more timely fashion than they did regarding the clogged drain in front of my house #2637558. I received several email responses on June 28. The issue had been acknowledged, someone from the field maintenance staff would investigate, and as today, July 8th, no one has. As of 10:30 this morning, half the street in front of my house is still flooded due to the clogged drain. The streets in the surrounding other blocks in the area are clear.

Water department seems to not do much. Requested meter check as my bill has been exactly the same for 7 months now. There is no way to contact them. I actually waited on hold for an hour one day. Of course if I didn't pay they'd be here in no time to shut water off. Plus basement has flooded 3 times in last 2 years. Not sure what the water department actually does except collect money.

This is on Freud between Charlmers & Marlborough off East Jefferson.
