Ok City of St. Pete...this problem has not been fixed, in fact it has gotten worse. The grass is up to the knees and now they have filled their back yard with old, rotting, nasty clothing adding to the already unhealthy environment. In addition, there is more "junk" in the front and back yard than ever before. The neighborhood rat problem has gotten worse as well other rodents, and in addition, he now has a rooster, which is illegal. Not only does the house need to be condemned, but now it is becoming a health issue for others in the neighborhood. The amount of rats is appalling, and they are seriously causing a major health issue. You literally see rats running about Mr. Frick's and our properties during the day!!! Our 70+ year old neighbor does not want to come out of her house because of this issue. She can't even sit in her backyard for fear rats will be present. Just not right that she is afraid to come out of her house because of this issue.
I just do not understand why nothing has been done. We pay high property taxes with our hard earned money to live in a nice neighborhood. We all keep our residences clean and yards kept up. So why in the world has Mr. Frick been allowed to get away with this issue for years? The time has seriously come for the City to do something about this issue. The neighbors have agreed to call the news/media to help get this done if the City will not. I would hate to see the City of St. Pete put in a bad light on all the major networks because nothing has been done. So, City of St. Pete and Nick Shears, PLEASE do something about this as soon as possible. Nick, if you or anyone from the City would like to discuss, I'll be more than happy to speak because this needs to be seriously and rapidly addressed. Thank you for your help.

This “Empty Property” has a pool on the property!!! They put boards on top of it!!
The surrounding properties adjacent to this “Empty Property” have been experiencing a lot of mosquito activity. We called the Pinellas County Mosquito control to have them come out and look at our properties. We discovered this pool being covered up on this empty property. The Pinellas County Mosquitoes employee said that this pool issue is most likely the neighborhood mosquitoes issue!!!
Please have a City come out and check this issue out for the neighborhood! Thanks

Thank you for your past submission via SeeClickFix. The City of St Petersburg periodically reviews past reports that are made from citizens within our city limits, and in an effort to clean up old issues that were resolved some time ago, we are marking as 'closed' those issues that were submitted in the past for which the work has been completed or the issue has otherwise been resolved.
If you think for any reason that the issue you submitted in the past might still be unresolved, please feel free to submit a new report with the SeeClickFix St. Pete website and we will make sure the issue is directed to the appropriate City department to be addressed as soon as possible.
Thank you again - Sincerely, St Pete Service Center
