  We in the Haynes neighborhood know exactly who this is. I am sorry this happened. I agree that there should be a stop sign there.

  Putting up another stop sign won't make people stop at the other stop sign. Make Fenwick one way, going towards summer. These roads can't handle the traffic and yes, some drivers are just awful no matter what you do.

  Proves the original point actually. No matter what signs you put up there are going to be drivers like this one on Haynes Rd that just don't care about life or anyone but themselves. Fenwick one way is ridiculous IMO. Will only cause heavy backup at the end of Summer getting onto Central. Like with this driver NO RULES of the road are going to be abided by until he kills someone and I hope and pray that isn't me!! There needs to be more police presence on the roads around here enforcing traffic / road laws. Not only speeding but failure to stop.

  Seriously, it is obvious that this intersection is a real issue. I think that it would be safe to say that there are problems from all ends. And by the way, I know it's fun to hate people on Haynes, but let's be real and get to the heart of the matter. This is a poorly designed intersection. The town should really look into it. I know it would be great to just say Haynes (and Bryant) Rd. people are awful, but really that is a bit ridiculous. The police have sat on Haynes Rd. on numerous occasions and ticketed people coming off of Fenwick. That's not to say no one coming off of Haynes ever does anything wrong. Please Town of Framingham, can you give this intersection some serious attention?

  I would like to see some sort of speed bump here. Maybe a series fo shallow ones like on Edmands, or maybe just one big one at the stop sign. Making Fenwick one way would work too. I wonder how much land on the corner lot at Summer and Central is town owned (the town seems to own a big chunk of the edge of everyone's property, I guess for sidewalks). If there is enough to add a right-turn lane onto Central, it would make turning Fenwick one-way more palatable.
  Putting the stop sign at the end of Haynes would make it even more dangerous for people coming off Central onto Haynes. At least most people slow down at the stop sign on Fenwick. If they had the right of way to roll right up to Central, it would be very hard to get onto Haynes, especially coming from the south. Also, the traffic would back up, blocking Haynes, causing a big mess on Central.

  @Michael C. I have talked to Lt Cronin and others about this intersection / speed bumps. The response I received was it would impact plows. I don't buy it given the humps up on Edmands. I am beginning to think the town only provides our part of the Ham reactive attention. Yes, frustration at this point.

  Additionally, you tell me how you have a park but not one single sign or flashing light to indicate you have people crossing the street. Not even a painted cross walk from one side to the bridge.

  The Police dept does not authorize traffic signs or any other physical change to roadways or intersections. The Towns Traffic Roadway Safety Committee does that-if you are seeking direction w the TRSC or with additional enforcement, pls contact the Towns current Safety Officer, Lt.   Thanks. I believe I have spoken with him as well. Sounds like the neighborhood would benefit from getting together to identify options which can put forward for review. I think 40 houses worth of tax dollars would make it easier for decision makers to see that $2,000 worth of pavement for speed humps, a few new signs and labor would be a great way to make things much better.

  I just left a message with Lt. Downing. Enough is Enough. I just about got nailed by a man who blew through the Fenwick stop sign to make a left turn onto Central. I was on Central making a right onto Haynes. My son was also in the car. It's time to do something town of Framingham and I don't mean take down signs.

  I almost got hit a few weeks ago. I was driving down Haynes to take a left onto Central. One car was rolling into the intersection from Fenwick to turn North on Central. I slowed to let her go, then expected the next person in line on Fenwick let me take my turn (not that we need to take turns, Haynes has the right of way), so I started to enter into the intersection, but the truck on Fenwick accelerated and swerved around to get in front of me, gave me the finger and roared away. I remember him and his vehicle very distinctly - big black pick-up truck, kind fo beat up looking, with a cap held on by two red straps cris-crossed across the tailgate, and Harley-Davidson sticker. This is not an indictment against Harley owners, I've known law-abiding bikers, but just an identification of this particular truck, and the type of problem we have to deal with on a regular basis. If there isn't an accident some day, there will probably be a road rage incident that gets out of hand.

  Hello Everyone.

  I (Aleks Dubovik @ 8 Bryant Road) will be attending the Traffic and Roadway Safety Committee tomorrow, Wednesday, September 14th, 2016 at 7PM in the Ablondi Room at Town Hall. It's been confirmed that the intersection of Haynes, Fenwick and Central is on the agenda as I had asked.

  At least one other neighbor will be attendance. I will be coming with whatever survey data I have been able to collect from neighbors to date.
