Why not post the city's response on a public forum for others to read? Are we not now being forced to recycle yard waste. (Grass clippings, tree leaves, ) and not allowed to trow it in the trash anymore under penalties of fines? If fined for being told we cannot any longer throw away leaves that drop into our yards, or lawn clippings, because they they stink, and maybe some of us chose not to compost in our backyards, then the city should start brooding collection of this debris.

Had a very nice conversation with Mr. Green. Currently DPW is unable to provide this service due to a number of limited resources. They are currently looking into how to implement Act 148, all-out ban on food scraps in landfills with the current resources available. Thank you for your time Mr. Green.
