The residents in this area have complained for years about speeding on Terhune in this location, and have repeatedly asked the Princeton government (Pedestrian Bike Committee, Traffic and Transportation Committee, etc) for help in dealing with this hazardous condition. The Town did reduce the speed limit on a similar section of Elm Road from 35 to 25 when the resident's complained. Why is there a difference?

The lawn sign in the 400 block of Terhune Road is lawful and approved by the Princeton Police. The purpose of the Keep Kids Alive Drive 25 sign is to alert motorists they are driving through a neighborhood with children. Drivers need to check their speed and watch out for pedestrians and bicyclists. The posted speed limit in the 400 block of Terhune Road is 30 MPH not 35 MPH.
