There are wheelchair accessible ramps constructed at this intersection so we can stripe the crosswalks along Fowler Av. Once the pavement markings have been completed we will have pedestrian crossing signs and pedestrian approach signs installed for both north and southbound Fowler Av.
We will have the work "stop" stenciled at the stop bar on the westbound side of the intersection.
Currently there is a "stop" sign installed on the northeast corner stopping traffic on Cator Av @ Fowler Av. There is a supplemental "stop sign" installed on the southeast corner. We will inspect these signs to make sure they are in good order.
We will survey the area and if need be we will issue work orders to have "25 mph" signs installed both directions of Fowler Av approaching Cator Av and on Cator Av between the Blvd & Fowler Av.
We will also have a "stop ahead" sign installed on the approach to the stop signs on Cator Av.
Recently an Ordinance was adopted designating the intersection of McAdoo and Fowler Av as a "multi-way" stop intersection. The stop signs are installed on Fowler Av at McAdoo and the blinking light is changed from flashing yellow to flashing red, will also serve as a traffic calming device for traffic along Fowler Av.
We will do a crash history, collision diagram and condition diagram to see what the accident profile is for this intersection as well.

The remainder of the upgrades you described seem to have fallen by the wayside. Can we please have someone out here to fulfill the remainder of the safety promises made?

Our apologies for the delayed response. The crash history does not meet the guidelines established in the Manual for Uniform Traffic Control Devices and therefore, a change in traffic control is not recommended at this time for the intersection of Cator Ave and Fowler Ave. Based on recent observations, the existing signage and striping is adequate.
