There is a new section on Winthrop and Derby corner that was damaged over the last week. The fence needs to be inspected section by section and repaired properly. It is beautiful and needs to be preserved.
Please find someone who knows how to cast these iron pieces. Maintaining the good things we have in this city are just as important as building new things.

I know that my neighbor John F. has been voluntarily picking up, watering & weeding this triangle for a couple of years. Thank you, John, but for these repairs the City needs to step up. Does Her Honor really care about Quality of Life for the taxpayers that support her administration?

There are sections of the fence that have been down for a very long time, but hopefully by reporting it here, someone from the city will pay attention and work on getting this fixed. The city really does need to step up and repairs assets like this to maintain the character of the neighborhood.

This small park, like the larger Green downtown, need some serious attention from the administration. People driving by Monitor Park get a bad impression of our neighborhood, people on the Green can get a bad impression of our City. Leave this issue Open.

Where is our West River alder Tyisha Walker ? The damage and deterioration has been going on for years. Its hard to believe that she is unaware since it is such a focal point. This is more the alder's responsibility than the mayors.

I notice that the iron fencing around the Green downtown is the same as this stuff around Monitor Square park, but is in much better shape. Yale doesn't even pay taxes to the City yet the Administration jumps whenever Yale barks.

Six months after my complaint (and others') not a thing has been done for this park and the Administration has not even acknowledged the issue. Not even a "Thank you for bringing this to our attention."
