For nearly 2 years Jackson Ave from Black Oak Ridge Rd ( RT202 ) to Hamburg Turnpike has been a nightmare of bumps and potholes. A friend called the township and said it was a county road and they need to take care of it, when the county was called they were told to take a different route.
That is rediculous, there is a volunteer firehouse on this route and the volunteer ambulance corp is also along route, not to mention that children are required to walk this road, that has no sidewalks, if they are closer than 2.5 miles from Wayne Hills HS,to get to school. With potholes and bumps the risk of flying debris is a factor as well that can possibly injure children.
