@Rob wasn't there an update at the last Yale Traffic Safety Subcommittee on timeline?

The update is that when we went to build the bump outs we found utility conflicts and a chamber underground which was not in any drawings (sometimes happens with a 376 year old city). We are working utilities to find out whose chamber it is - if utility companies resolves itself quickly, we hope that this intersection will be installed/improved in 2016. We conducted test pits last week -

Blah,blah,blah. Please, no more city excuses. Cars (including law enforcement) FLY through this intersection. Do you have to wait for someone to get hit before doing something? Studies are poor excuses for postponing what needs to be done. Put an orange cone there! No digging required.

Yes! Finally!! Thanks to TTP and Yale for making this happen!!! The newly re-designed intersection (bump-outs, solar-powered pedestrian crossing light, etc.) looks great: much safer. It pays to be patient. And persistent.
