We blew leaves out to the curb and swept today. Union is on a regular schedule. Cars parked there today but we took care of area as best we could. Thanks for reporting.

Thanks so much. This will really help! Unfortunately, the cars that dump garbage there just keep coming.

Today, 9/4/2016, there are at 5 areas of broken auto glass on the sidewalk and in the gutter, indicating break-ins of cars parked during the day. But sweeping on a regular schedule should help keep the amount of glass and garbage in check.

Maybe Public Works could coordinate with the Traffic department to start ticketing the cars that are parked there all day, in violation of the 2-hour limit? It would help send the message that this is not an abandoned area of the city that people are free to trash out.
