The picture you have taken is looking WEST! That would result in the address in your pic being 3807 2nd NW. The Property you are erroneously complaining about is BEHIND you. Even numbers on EAST side, odd numbers on WEST side. 206 Harter is on East side facing WEST as would 256 Harter. Source: Stark County Auditor Website. Also given time reported and shadows one can clearly conclude your camera was pointed WEST. Please check your info before reporting, those property owners you point out in error, and city officials would appreciate it.
Wow....anyway, yes, I messed up reporting the address on Grandview. However in this case the mobile app for See Click Fix requires that the GPS location be active in order to use it (if this gets too technical just take a deep breath or get up and stretch and come back later) and therefore uses that GPS point. I was NOT complaining about 206. IT WAS WHERE I WAS STANDING. If you had used you stunning detective skills just a bit more you would have seen in the description section the corner I was referring to.
Wow! Do you just have to much free time on your hands? Do you drive around looking for these situations? Sorry to stoop down to your low level of condescending remarks. Where you were standing and where your camera was aiming does not identify 206. Now YOU take a deep breath and hold it! If you look at the very top it shows 206 Harter NW. Guess where the city official will go.
Get it right or stop reporting and wasting officials time! Anyone, even you can verify an address. Just go to the auditors website, or is that to much effort for you? But take the easy (lazy) way out and blame it on GPS. Don't blame technology, blame yourself!
GPS is not always correct. ask UPS, FedEx, or others who rely on technology. Map reading is a skill you obviously have never acquired. Go ahead, rely on GPS just like you did on Grandview.
That worked out great didn't it?
OK exhale now!
After your condescending lecture on compass direction, address numbering and shadowing in relation to time of day, I felt my response was ok. Get it right? I did get it right. The app generated an address based on my location, the description I gave and attached pic clearly identify the issue. If you would like to get together and discuss technology, my map reading skills, why I'm out and about in the neighborhood so much, please stop by. Unlike you I'm not anonymous and you obviously know where I live.
9/2/16 forwarded this to the Street Dept. Just got an email stating that this is not a Street Dept. issue even though the area is in the street around the curbs. They suggested that we check with Community Development.
