Description
2nd Street on the corner of Washington Street, between The 'A' Building at 389 Washington Street, and the new Marbella II building has recently been resurfaced and made into a very wide roadway. Traffic from Provost Street, and sometimes from the BJ's parking lot, is turning East, against the traffic flow, crossing the railtracks (with no lights in that direction to indicate if safe to do so), and then trying to enter/cross Washington Street, disobeying a number of signs to the contrary. Pedestrians do not expect (or look out for) traffic from the West as this is a one-way street, and signs to deter traffic moving Eastwards are not prominent.
We either need some better signage, or the presence of a police cruiser to act as a deterrent,
Regards
Chris Smith

An ordinance passed last year making this a two way street, BUT the city is waiting on the state to adjust the traffic lights on the light rail to become two ways. Not sure if the city has prepared the traffic light at Washington and Second Street yet.
This is a huge problem until the change is made. Do Not Enter signs in the meantime should be prominent, even if it's only for a short time. A police presence would be helpful.
